Private Music Lessons

BFSM offers individual and shared private lessons in Drums, Ukulele, Guitar, Piano, Bass, Saxophone and Voice.

Most students attend 30-minute weekly lessons, while adults sometimes prefer 40 or 60-minute lessons weekly or fortnightly. Younger students aged 4–6 years often benefit from 20-minute lessons.

Lessons run five days a week, with times depending on teacher availability and current bookings. If your preferred time is unavailable, you can join our waiting list.

Each student works with their teacher to set personal goals, and lessons are tailored to help them achieve these. Students may work towards performances, recordings, exams, public gigs, or simply enjoy a supportive space to explore music and creativity.

Upcoming Concerts

Our student concerts provide a relaxed and supportive opportunity for students to share what they’ve been working on. Participation is completely optional, and the concerts are non-competitive, focusing on encouragement, confidence, and celebrating progress. Students are welcome to perform when they feel ready, and families are invited to enjoy and support the musical journey.
