ABOUT ME
Bachelor of Creative Arts – La Trobe University
Diploma of Screen and Media – RMIT University
Sarah graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours) and also holds a Diploma of Screen and Media from RMIT University.
She has been writing songs from an early age, learning guitar and ukulele to accompany her singing. During her time at La Trobe, Sarah was an active member of La Trobe Student Theatre and Film, performing in numerous cabarets and theatre productions.
After graduating, Sarah continued collaborating with the creative community she had built during university and went on to co-found Picked Last For Sport (PLFS) with her friend Ryan Smith. PLFS has created six original shows and accompanying music, performed primarily at the Melbourne Fringe Festival and more recently at the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
Sarah has a strong passion for connection and community, and believes music plays a powerful role in bringing people together.
📍 You can find Sarah teaching in Room 6 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and in Room 7 on Thursdays. She is also at MSPS on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
