From running around at folk and bluegrass music festivals to singing in choirs, learning piano, writing songs, performing in bands, recording and releasing original music, and teaching — Sarah can’t remember a time when music wasn’t part of her life.

Sarah enjoys the technical aspects of learning music just as much as the social and emotional side of it. She tailors her lessons to each student’s individual goals and interests, encouraging students to build self-motivated practice habits. Sarah approaches teaching with patience and understanding, supporting students through the challenges that can arise in both practice and performance.

Recognising that music is a lifelong journey, Sarah continually works to further develop her own skills as a vocalist, pianist, songwriter, and performer, and enjoys sharing her knowledge, experience, and love of music with her students.
