ABOUT ME

Completing Bachelor of Music (Jazz & Improvisation) – Victorian College of the Arts

Lyndon is currently in his second year of Jazz & Improvisation studies at the Victorian College of the Arts. With a background spanning performance, composition, and teaching, Lyndon brings a versatile approach to his music-making.

Growing up surrounded by music, Lyndon has been performing for many years in bands across jazz, funk, and groove styles, while also having an appreciation for pop, rock, musical theatre, and more. He thrives on improvisation, collaboration, and pushing creative boundaries — whether that’s creating a tune on the spot, joining a spontaneous jam session, or exploring unusual and experimental sounds.

As a teacher, Lyndon is passionate about helping students feel comfortable and excited about playing music from the very beginning. He focuses on learning the fundamentals step-by-step, building confidence, and keeping lessons fun and creative, so students can discover and develop their own musical voice.

Outside of teaching, Lyndon is an active saxophonist performing with his band Sonic Fuze. You can often find him composing, rehearsing, or preparing for his next performance.

📍 You can find Lyndon teaching in Room 7.
